LeBron James can now officially add wedding ring to his collections of rings.
The basketball player married his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, on Saturday in San Diego E! News confirmed.
About 200 guests were present at the couple's ceremony, according to a source. The wedding, which was kept top secret, was held at the Grand Del Mar Hotel. The ceremony was the highlight of a three-day celebration concluded with a brunch on Sunday.
Guests were ushered into the wedding areas under the cover of tents, and television footage taken by news helicopters showed that even umbrellas were used to protect the identity of those arriving.
E! News reported the Miami Heat player and his bride entertained guests which included fellow NBA champ Dwyane Wade and girlfriend Gabrielle Union, Heat owner Micky Arison, coach Erik Spoelstro, as well as, Neyo, Beyoncé and Jay Z.
The couple has been dating since they were 16 and have two children, 8-year-old LeBron James, Jr., and 6-year-old Bryce Maximus James.
The 28-year-old proposed to Brinson in January 2012 at the Shelborne hotel in South Beach with a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring. He was reportedly surrounded by many of his teammates.
According to the Associated Press, Brinson spoke briefly about her wedding plans last spring. She told the media source she was both excited and nervous.
"Savannah gets whatever she wants on her day, the wedding days she always dreamed of," James said according to USA Today.
