A final release date has been announce by MTV for fans of Teen Wolf as it returns on January 5, Tuesday for the premiere of the half of their fifth season.
The series will also have a new time slot, which is about to be 9 PM EDT and no longer on Mondays at 10 PM. IB Times cited this new change of time during the Comic Con interview in New York on Friday. Showrunner Jeff Davis announced it with the cast including Tyler Posey (as Scott), Dylan Sprayberry (as Liam) and Cody Christian (as Theo).
Davis didn't just announced the new time but he also reported that new characters would also be witnessed this new season. These new cast even made it on the Comic Con event and they are JR Bourne who would play Mr. Agent, while Chris Argent who would make a come back.
Davis teased and there is another member of the Argent family who is returning, but he didn't give out further details about that character. It could be Allison who plays the role of Crystal Reed, although that would mean she would be resurrected from the dead. It could also be Kate (Jill Wagner) and Allison's grandpa, Girard (Michael Hogan). Whoever it is, the revelation couldn't be more exciting and thrilling since fans would still have to wait 3 more months to get an answer.
The new part of season 5 will focus on how the pack would be reunited since they have become so set apart last time. Lydia (Holland Roden) would have a hard time dealing with her old friends since she seems to be trapped in Eichen House. Davis gave another teaser saying Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) would try to rescue Lydia all by himself.
Don't forget the date when Teen Wolf returns on TV, January 5, PM EDT.
