Keira Knightley Broadway Debut Finds More Difficulties After Crazed Fans – ‘Imitation Game’ Star Cancels Over Injury

With two Oscar nominations to her name and a handful of extremely well-known roles, all that was missing in the 30 year-old actress' career was Keira Knightley's Broadway debut, which was set for the end of October - but after a few drama-filled days, it seems like it will have to wait.

Last year, it had been announced that the first Keira Knightley Broadway play, where she would portray the title character in Helen Edmunson's "Thérèse Raquin," would premiere at the Roundabout's Studio 54 theater on October 29, but after a crazed fan approached her during a showing for critics and a "minor injury," the play may have to wait.

According to The New York Post, Keira Knightley's Broadway production has been temporarily canceled after the actress suffered a wrist injury, although if it had been for Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom's "Pirates of the Caribbean" co-star, she would have performed that very night.

The Inquisitr reports that the new mom will not take "no" for an answer when it comes to the highly-awaited Keira Knightley Broadway run, as she has already been spotted back at rehearsals for the play after missing the Wednesday showing, and it is believed that the company may have cut her cartwheels scene to accommodate her present injury.

Knightley's injury comes only days after a worrying incident, when the 30 year-old actress was interrupted mid-scene by a fan who said that the Academy Award nominee and him were "going to Heaven together," prompting Knightley to report the incident to police.

According to Herald Current, ahead of Keira Knightley's Broadway bad luck in the past few days, the theater she's performing it has a recent history of odd occurrences, as it's the same place where actor Shia LaBeouf was handcuffed and taken away during a performance of "Cabaret" after he yelled homophobic slurs.

In any case, hopefully things will clear out soon and the 30 year-old actress will feel well enough for Keira Knightley's Broadway turn!
