Malika Haqq Arrested: Khloe Kardashian's BFF Busted For DUI After Freeway Crash [PHOTOS]

Malika Haqq is used to seeing her BFF Khloe Kardashian deal with public scrutiny, but today, she’s the one in the spotlight, but not for the best reasons.

The 32-year-old was arrested early Thursday for a suspected DUI and was taken into custody at 4:18 a.m. by the California Highway Patrol on the 101 freeway.

Malika Haqq crashed her car on a Los Angeles freeway around 3:00 a.m. on Oct. 8, and when police arrived at the scene, Malika showed “objective symptoms of intoxication,” according to TMZ. She was given a field sobriety test, which she failed.

Police had received a call of a black Mercedes-Benz blocking lanes on the 101 north, according to the CPH incident report, which says Haqq suffered minor injuries following a minor collision. Officers determined she was under the influence of alcohol.

She was subsequently arrested for DUI, but no further information has been released just yet.

In a CHP report, it states that she showed "objective symptoms of intoxication." She was later released Thursday with her bail set at $30,000.

Malika stars on the new E! series Dash Dolls, but she’s been making appearances with Khloe on the Kardashian reality shows for years. In fact, she was a major part of Khloe & Lamar while that was on the air, and has really been there fore Khloe since her 2013 divorce.

Malika co-manages the Kardashian sisters' DASH boutiques with twin sister Khadijah Haqq McCray. The West Hollywood store is the focus of their reality show, which debuted on September 20.

The Dash Dolls star has yet to post on Twitter or Instagram since this whole thing went down, but Malika Haqq's twin sister, Khadijah Haqq McCray, released a statement to E! News exclusively following the arrest.

"We all go through rough patches and this has been a difficult year for my sister. Malika understands the gravity of her actions and deeply apologizes. At this time, we will deal with this as a family."
