Despite rumors Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith are not selling their $42 million mansion or getting a divorce.
According to Us Weekly, a report by Real Estalker, which surfaced last week, claimed the A-list couple's 25,000-square-foot Calabasas, Calif., was listed for sale at $42 million. According to E! News, Jada's reps have confirmed the story was false.
"They are not selling their home," the rep said. "That was false information."
According to Real Estalker, the home, designed by Stephen Samuelson, took four years to build. It features a recording studio, meditation room, a private terrace off the master bathroom and a free-form pool all on 150 acres. It was featured in Architectural Digest in 2011.
The rumors of the sale led to more rumors that the couple, who have two children together, were separating.
Will and Jada, who married in 1997, have dealt with divorce rumors in the past. Both have candidly discussed their relationship, which has been speculated to be an open marriage.
"I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay,'" the actress said in an interview early April. "Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him. Or vice versa."
In 2011, Jada, 41, and Will, 44, spoke with Architectural Digest about the home they share with son Jayden and daughter Willow.
"For Will and me this home was always a spiritual endeavor," Jada said. "We're very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.
"It's definitely a work in progress," she said. "Will and I were very young when we started the house, so it keeps on changing as we get older and understand how we really live in it. But whatever it becomes, the craftsmanship will always represent our union and the love of our family."
