Berzerk Eminem: Rapper Reveals Sneak Peek of Single During MTV Music Awards [AUDIO]

Eminem is back!

The rapper announced the news about his new album titled, "MMLP2," and its release date in a Dr. Dre Beats Headphone ad during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

According to the New York Daily News, "MMLP2," named after Eminem's classic 2000 album, "Marshal Mathers LP," and the superstar's first new record since 2010's Grammy-winning "Recovery".

The album is set to release on Nov. 5, the commercial announced. "Berzerk" will be Eminem's first single off his new album. The rapper gave fans a sneak peek in a preview trailer video for the new single.

The new track opens with the lyrics: "Take your shoes off, let your hair down, go berserk all night long."

It continues, "We're gonna rock this house until we knock it down, so turn the volume loud."

Later, Eminem raps: "Life's too short, so now go for broke.Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I'm about to bloody this track up, everybody get back/That's why my pen needs a pad because my rhymes' on the rag."

Rick Rubin, and Eminem's long-time friend and co-producer Dr. Dre, are the executive producers. It will be his 8th solo studio album to date.

He spoke to MTV News back in August 2012 about some of his upcoming projects.

"I've actually kinda just started (on a new album). I've been on the move a little bit too, so I've in between things, sneak songs in here and there."
