Jim Carrey’s Girlfriend Cathriona White Committed Suicide Using Comedian’s Name On Prescription, Is ‘Ace Ventura’ Suspect In Scientology Conspiracy?

It's been only a few days since Jim Carrey's girlfriend (or more like on-again and off-again love) Cathriona White was found dead from what so far seems like intentional overdose with prescription drugs, but already conspiracy theories are flying all over the place - including one involving the Irish make up artist's involvement in the Church of Scientology.

Time and again, the church Tom Cruise and John Travolta belong to has become the subject of controversy over claims of extreme secrecy, brainwashing and even extortion of their members; could Jim Carrey's girlfriend have been a victim of extreme practices in Scientology?

According to Scientology expert Tony Ortega, sources close to the Church claim that Jim Carrey's girlfriend was going through Survival's Rundown (SRD), a course directed at members of the religion who are undergoing psychological problems of different types, as they're "purified" to keep them from seeking psychiatric help, which the Church is very much against.

While there are other sources who say that Jim Carrey's girlfriend had stopped her SRD treatment months ago, The Daily Mail reports that, weeks before her death, White shared a picture of herself taking Vitamins B and C, a cocktail that Scientology dogma says will shield believers from ever suffering depression.

According to Us Weekly, while the Scientology theories are nothing short of speculation, there are other worrying emerging details about the death of Jim Carrey's girlfriend, including how the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has recently confirmed that the 30 year-old was in possession of four pill bottles, none of which were prescribed to her name, although three had been prescribed for Carrey under an alias.

"We confirmed with the pharmacy it was an alias [for Carrey]," said Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter to People Magazine regarding the pills found near the body of Jim Carrey's girlfriend. "It's not against the law if you go to the doctor, as long as it shows somewhere on your medical records your real name, then you can have [an alias]. A lot of celebrities use aliases."
