Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Gained Criticisms From Gamers, Activision Promises To Fix Issues Soon

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is finally released in the market and various fans and gaming enthusiasts have claimed that they were quite disappointed in the new skateboarding video game sequel from Activision.

The said computer game was released last September 29 for PS4 and Xbox One users. Since then, several users and even gaming websites have been expressing their frustration about the game primarily because of its instability.

For instance, the gaming website Attack of the Fanyboy has reported that the Skater5 has a lagging issue even if the console is perfectly tuned. Aside from that, the online mode of the game is experiencing some issues which include its inability to load in any levels. Gamers also said that the videogame has poor framerate and performance even if it is played in offline mode.

Because of the poor reviews coming from different critics, Metacritic rate the game with a metascore of 27 which is quite low. In a certain review conducted by Shacknews, they said the new game is the worst in the franchise history of Activision and also considered as the worst game that is released in this year.

Activision, on the other hand, said that they are aware of the different issues and glitches that the game has. They also stated that they will fix the said problems as soon as possible.

In a statement given to Eurogamer, the game publisher stated that they are going to fix the game with the help of a developer.

"We are aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years," Activision pointed out.

The Skater 5 will be available in PS3 and Xbox3 60 this coming November 10.
