Sam and Dean Winchester have found an excellent way to welcome their new neighbors!
'Supernatural' stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have been working in Vancouver for over 11 years and the actors were obviously happy to have new neighbors in the cast of 'Lucifer' and 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow.'
So how would Sam and Dean Winchester welcome their new friends into the neighborhood? If you think they would drop by with a home-cooked vegan casserole and a basket of cookies, you don't know these guys too well.
E! Online reports that the 'Supernatural' crew made a huge banner featuring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles and hung it outside the Warner Bros. studio lot. The banner read, "Welcome Freshman Class of 'Lucifer' and 'Legends of Tomorrow.'" At the bottom, it was signed, "From your friends at 'Supernatural Season XI.'"
The cast of 'Lucifer' and 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' were clearly delighted with the banner as they posed for a photo op with the Winchesters. The picture shows Jensen Ackles with 'Lucifer' stars Kevin Alejandro, Lauren German, Scarlett Estevez, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Tom Ellis. 'Legends of Tomorrow' actors Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Ciara Renee, Falk Hentschel, Franz Drameh, Arthur Darvill and Brandon Routh were smiling with Jared Padalecki.
Jensen Ackles, who plays 'Supernatural' older brother Dean Winchester, immediately posted the photo on Twitter. The caption read, "Welcoming some new faces to the studio lot up here in Vancouver. #TheCW_Legends #LuciferonFox ...so many actors :-/."
Sam and Dean Winchester have every right to call the new shows "Freshman Class," since Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have been shooting in Vancouver since the inception of 'Supernatural' in 2005. The series has already hammered out ten seasons of demon hunting and angel fights, and the eleventh season is set to premiere on October 7.
