Tom Hanks' son Chester Hanks' also known "Chet" has revealed that he has been addicted in the drug substance cocaine and this last summer he voluntarily put himself in a rehabilitation center to fight his problems with drug addiction.
The 25 year old son of Tom Hanks' Chester "Chet" Hanks admitted that he has been addicted to cocaine since he was 16 years old. Last summer he attended a recreational Class A drug and voluntarily submitted himself for rehabilitation to restore himself and get away from substance abuse.
The rapper said in some series on the video clips in his instagram account ''I've been in rehab. I've been trying to get my s**t together and I'm doing pretty damn good.
''I just really had to take a look at myself and my life and the way s**t was going and all the crazy stupid s**t I was doing and just finally admit to myself that it wasn't working.''
Chet added , ''A couple months ago I was selling coke [and] doing coke until I couldn't even snort it up my nose anymore because it was so clogged. I even smoked crack.''
Chester Hanks believes that the struggles of his substance addiction are due to his lifestyle in the eyes of the public and the difficulty to follow the footsteps of his father and on how to "fit in".
He elaborated ''It's been a long journey discovering who I am because all the pressures that I've dealt with in my life -- you know, being the son of my dad and everything.''
This rumors spread after three months when Chet was reportedly caught by the police for allegedly smashing a hotel at Gatwick Airport outside the London when three girls refused to have sex with him.
Before that incident happened he was advised to suspend the use of N-word in some of his posts in instagram which he defended as "free speech."
