Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are in a great relationship with each other, so it’s only natural for the media to assume that they are taking the next step. With so many reports claiming that Calvin and Taylor are looking to wed, the 25-year-old decided to give in and reveal the truth behind the rumors.
Being one of the most famous musicians in the world, she always gets the rumour mill whirling, but Taylor Swift has taken it upon herself to put an end to the buzz.
One of the recent reports had to do with her possibly buying a sprawling estate in Los Angeles while the other was a bit juicier revolved around possible wedding plans between her and beau Calvin Harris.
The second report Taylor seemingly acknowledged was one from OK! Magazine last week which claimed that her 31-year-old Scottish DJ beau has been doing some engagement ring shopping at XIV Karats in beveryly Hills.
The publication went on to claim that though Calvin has yet to pop the question, they have been planning their wedding and have already discussed the perfect location.
The chart topper took to her Twitter account on September 29 to shoot down two different reports that have been circulating about her personal life.
“What the press says I’m doing: Buying a Bev Hills mansion, getting married in an English castle, What I’m doing: Playing a show in St. Louis,” the 'Blank Space' singer tweeted.
Taylor doesn’t have the time to set the record straight on every rumor about her since she’s so busy. But it looks like Taylor had time before her St. Louis show to dismiss any talk about her relationship with Calvin and their supposed wedding that’s happening in an English castle.
After putting a stop to the rumors, Taylor brought the house down during her 1989 concert in St. Louis, Missouri that very evening. She was joined on stage with special guest Nelly and the two, along with Haim, sang his hit song, “Hot In Herre” for the crowd. Taylor even showed off some pretty amazing dance moves while the rapper was performing one of his hits.
