Blake Lively Preserve: ‘Gossip Girl’ Shuts Down Lifestyle Brand, Plans Ahead – Tells Husband Ryan Reynolds To Play Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ Nonstop!

Last year, the star of "Gossip Girl" better known as being Ryan Reynolds' wife these days launched her own lifestyle website following the steps of megastar actresses-turned-brands like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba - but Blake Lively's Preserve didn't do nearly as well as she'd intended.

After the launch of Blake Lively's Preserve, the mother of 1 year-old baby girl James was met with a lot of backlash over the confusing concept, part lifestyle magazine and part e-commerce site, because it was too far away from reality with extraordinarily high prices - and because of the lack of impact, the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" star has decided to put down the site.

According to Gawker, the actress' official reason to shut down Blake Lively's Preserve is the fact that it has not managed to stay afloat with its "original mission" despite the team of people behind it - and she's sure she can do better than that.

"I'm not going to continue to chase my tail and continue to put a product out there that we, as a team, are not proud of," the 28 year-old star told Vogue, the same outlet she used to promote the launch of Blake Lively's Preserve last year. "I'm going to take this hit, and the only way I can prove all the negative reactions wrong is to come back with a plan that will rock people. And I have that plan."

As far as saying what's next after Blake Lively's Preserve, the star is keeping tight-lipped, but one thing is certain: to help cope with the loss, she's asked her "Deadpool" hubby for a favor: play Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" on a loop!

As Business Insider reports, whatever comes after Blake Lively's Preserve, she's keeping her message clear, as her idea is "to create a shoppable lifestyle" and make things easier for millennials, her own generation - we can't wait to see what's next for the star!
