Basketball player Stephon Marbury hasn't been under the "American spotlight" for a few years now, but that doesn't mean he's out of the game.
In fact, he's a huge basketball star in China, especially after helping the Beijing Ducks win three Chinese Basketball Association championships.
Although he never went through the same success in the National Basketball Association, he made two All-Star Games in addition to his own sneaker line.
Called "Starbury" sneakers, the kicks were sold at Steve and Barry's until the store closed down in 2009. Since then, he hasn't come up with any new signature shoes.
But that's all about to change! Stephon Marbury took to share the news on his Instagram account, teasing some sneaker designs for the comeback of Starbury.
Let's admit, Stephon Marbury's shoe line isn't on anyone's holy grail of shoes list - unlike Kanye West's Yeezy Boosts with Adidas, or Kendrick Lamar's collaboration with Reebok.
But what's great about Stephon Marbury's signature sneaks is that it's high affordable (it was just $15!), which is something we can't say about those other celeb kicks.
No confirmation yet on how much or when the sneaks will actually drop. But since the inspiration for the sneaker pricing was due to Marbury's childhood (he couldn't afford expensive sneakers), it's pretty much expected that he'll be retaining the affordable price tag.
Stephon Marbury net worth is $45 million.
