The American series of thriller films, based on the fictional character of the popular CIA hero, who was originally featured in a series of books by Tom Clancy - Jack Ryan, has landed the online retailer of books, movies, music and games - Amazon.
The streaming service Amazon, has given a series order to the drama from Carlton Cuse (best known as an executive producer and screenwriter for the television series - Lost) and Graham Roland (American television writer and producer), as well as Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes, Skydance Media, and Paramount TV.
The intention is for everyone is to go straight-to-series on the project, which would be done based on the completed scripts.
The character of Jack Ryan began as an ex-Marine who is drafted into the CIA while working as an investment banker.
