The biggest twist in the hit series 'Once Upon A Time' will certainly rock the whole town of Storybrooke as Emma Swan finally decides to embrace the dark side of her soul. The savior will become the Dark One.
The character's family and friends were not successful in helping Emma fight the dark forces in her. The desire to take revenge has pushed her to become evil.
The bosses of the show Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed that they will be using flashbacks to Camelot and the present day Storybrooke to relate the story of the past six weeks.
Regarding Emma Swan turning into the Dark One, Horowitz stated that the entire events will affect her. It is still uncertain if her love ones will manage to help her regain her good side.
"While a lot of the story in the first half we tend to wrap up in the midseason, there's bigger issues that are introduced as early as this episode that will carry over for the whole season. We're trying to tell two separate parts of episodes and connect them. Emma's journey is going to encompass the whole season," Horowitz revealed.
As Emma Swan played by Jennifer Morrison became the bad girl, the whole Storybrooke suffers with the consequences since they are left without a leader. On the brighter side, the main character will have a change of heart by the time the six weeks end.
Horowitz and Kitsis also added that in the entire season, they want to explore on the characters of Regina and Hook who are both close to Emma Swan. The two will play a great part in the recovery or downfall of Emma. Their experience in combating with the evil force will be helpful in winning back their leader if they choose to do so.
In the absence of Emma Swan, Regina will take over the office that she left which will bring different results to the whole town.
Kitsis promised that viewers of the American drama series 'Once Upon A Time' will be happy since they will be showing many old faces in the fifth season.
