Mark Millar Explains How Colin Firth Can Fit In Kingsman 2

The British spy action comedy film - 'Kingsman: The Secret Service,' is conceivably the breakout motion picture of 2014. The spy-action comedy was substantially filled with various carefully orchestrated violence and acrobatic stunts, shot in fast but fluid long takes.

Aside from the film's entertaining brutality and wildly unreasonable plot, Kingsman: The Secret Service surprisingly did well in making the audience care for the tale's equally cartoonish characters.

As Mark Millar was recently caught in an interview with IGN, Millar talked about the plans for Kingsman 2, where the Scottish comic book writer admitted that working Galahad into the sequel has been the foremost challenge of the creative team.

Mark Millar stated, "That's the discussion everyone's having right now, because part of what made that film work is Colin. Colin's fantastic, it was a two-hander that movie. You also want to have the integrity of the story, so if you are bringing him back, it has to make sense. That's where it is at the moment."

Mark Millar also revealed that portions of the story for the sequel have already been completed, however, the first film's co-writers Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman are having a hard time in finishing out the rest of the Kingsman 2's screenplay.

While the screenwriters of the sequel are still figuring out a specific way to include the English actor Colin Firth in the film, for the actor's come back to still make sense within the unexpected traits of the "Kingsman" universe. The bizarre ways for Agent Galahad can be brought back, if Colin Firth will have to play as a twin character or be featured in flashback sequences.

Mark Millar said, "It's humorous for the reason that there's a lot of conversations like that, like should he have an evil brother, Colin with a mustache? Or is he a ghost or whatever? The guys have a plan. I can't spoil it just now because the final decision is still to be made."

"Kingsman 2" is slated to be released sometime in 2017.
