Jennifer Lopez's Ex Threatens to Release Sex Tape

Jennifer Lopez is fighting an intense legal battle to prevent her ex-husband from releasing a decades old video recordings that contain, among other things, intimate footage taken during their honeymoon.

The footage was recorded by Ojani Noa, Lopez's first husband whom she married in 1997 but quickly divorced after just 11 months. According to In Touch Weekly, Noa has been trying to release the tapes for almost six years, but Lopez's legal team has mounted stiff resistance against his attempts.

According to the magazine, a new development in the saga may allow Noa and his business partner, Ed Meyer to circumvent Lopez's legal blockade and make the recordings public. Speaking with In Touch, Meyer says that he and his partners have found a loophole that lets them release the tapes.

In July, Lopez withdrew her claims against Noa and Meyer while the case was in arbitration. This development is believed to be the incident that the pair are trying to exploit in their quest to release the videos.

"We are going to produce a DVD and also have a streaming release of the J.Lo home video footage," Meyer said. "There is revealing video of her with a lack of clothing and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel footage from the honeymoon."

He also said that the footage will "shock her fans".

The entire incident seems to be part of a vendetta that Meyer has against Lopez. He told In Touch that he has 'unfinished business' with the singer and actress.

The master tape is currently in the possession of the court, but Noa and Meyer claim they have several copies ready to be revealed.

According to The Daily Beast, sex tape rumors date as far back as 2001. Hip-Hop Mogul Suge Knight, a rival of Lopez's then boyfriend Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, claimed to have seen the footage.
