The much-awaited 12th season of Grey's Anatomy is about shock its viewers. The network just released a teaser video of what fans could expect on its premiere. Meredith (played by Ellen Pompeo) was seen astonished as she was awakened from a sleep due to the sound of some crash.
According to IB Time, she then got out of bed to check what was that sound about and that is when she saw Amelia (played by Caterina Scorsone) swinging some sledgehammer. And for those who are wondering the title of this season premiere, it is called "Sledgehammer." Amelia is her new roommate and sister-in-law. Meredith of course asked her what is her deal with the sledgehammer and her response was that she was just inspired to knock down the wall after talking to her the night before.
Nevertheless, expect to see a lot of drama and conflict going on between Meredith and Amelia, as soon as the season opens. There would be arguments about demolition, petty subjects like laundry and even the dishes won't be spared from the two's fight. Since Derek (played by Patrick Dempsey) died and Meredith had to move out of her house, her moving back to her mom's place is going to be awkward because Amelia is also going to be around her. We can all pretty much expect that the two of them would get into each other's nerves.
Shonda Rhimes told The Hollywood Reporter what is her thoughts as the showrunner of this TV series this season and she said, "Right now it's very funny. Those three women are very different and don't have very much in common, which is fantastic."
Ellen Pompeo also added some spoilers for fans saying, "And I'm sure there'll be drinking and conflict, and boys will come into it at some point with three girls in the house."
