'Gotham' Update: Ben McKenzie And Morena Baccarin Officially Dating! [WATCH] The Violent Season 2 'Maniax' Red Band Trailer! [VIDEO]

It looks like Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie are taking their onscreen 'Gotham' romance off-screen as well!

The stars of the hit series 'Gotham' recently attended the Fox Emmy Awards afterparty, where they arrived together. Morena Baccarin looked radiant in a red Reema Acra gown with a see-through bodice while Ben McKenzie rocked a Salvatore Ferragamo tux.

According to People magazine, sources have confirmed that Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are officially dating. The couple has been working together on 'Gotham,' where their characters James Gordon and Leslie Thompkins started dating in the episode 'The Fearsome Dr. Crane.' Although Dr. Leslie Thompkins started out as a recurring character, Morena Baccarin will be a regular in Season Two.

The second season of 'Gotham' has already premiered and it may find both James Gordon and Dr. Thompkins in extremely dangerous territory. Although the few TV spots featuring the villains of Gotham have been relatively tame, a red-band trailer for the second episode has been released with a warning, "What you are about to see is very graphic."

'The Maniax' introduces the criminally insane inmates who are inexplicably set free by Tabitha Galavan, who then brings them to her brother Theo. The new villains strike a deal with the criminals, most notably Jerome Valeska, who is slowly inching into his transformation as the Joker.

The description for 'Knock Knock,' the second episode of 'Gotham' Season Two, reads as follows:

"On the heels of his reinstatement, Gordon is thrust onto the high-profile case tracking the deadly inmate escape from Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Galavan plans his next move, while Bruce enlists the help of his father's old friend to unlock the secrets in his office, and Nygma asks out Kristin Kringle (guest-star Chelsea Spack) on a date."

'Knock Knock' airs on Fox on September 28.
