Ahead of the December release of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," a film that's already finished after shooting ended months back, production for the eighth installment has already begun, and rumor has it there may be a Hayden Christensen 2015 return to the franchise that made him a star.
Although there's no doubt that the second "Star Wars" trilogy had an amazing cast with the likes of Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman, the three prequel films are also considered to be endlessly inferior to their older counterparts, and rumors of Hayden Christensen's 2015 return to the franchise have raised more than a few eyebrows.
While nothing's confirmed yet, according to Comic Book, there's a possibility of Hayden Christensen's 2015 return to the saga, as the 34 year-old actor, who playing Anakin Skywalker in "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith," will supposedly receive training in the near future.
"A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort," says the current gossip.
Fan site Making Star Wars is the one reporting on the possible Hayden Christensen 2015 comeback to the galaxy far, far away, and obviously, if Christensen's going to be training for the role, it would appear like Darth Vader is either alive or, much more likely, he's been cloned, possibly by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), who's obsessed with the Sith lord.
What Culture reports that Hayden Christensen's 2015 return to "Star Wars" could also mean changes for another "Star Wars" project currently in the making, "Rogue One" starring Oscar nominee Felicity Jones, which will be set in the same universe as the "Star Wars" films but won't be a direct sequel to the new trilogy.
With only rumors, "Star Wars" fans have already begun complaining over the possibility, as Christensen is partially "blamed" for the second trilogy being wildly subpar to its predecessors.
In any case, only time will tell whether those Hayden Christensen 2015 rumors are true!
