Snoop Dogg Cannabis: Rapper Follows Footsteps Of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop With Lifestyle Site … Only Merry Jane’s Totally Dedicated To Marijuana

Over the past couple of years, a number of celebrities have released lifestyle companies, from clothes brands (like Melissa McCarthy, Kim Kardashian and even Jennifer Lopez some years back) to home goods (like Jessica Alba) and even a lifestyle magazine (like Gwyneth Paltrow) - now, a completely different brand is on the scene, as Snoop Dogg's cannabis move becomes public.

Only a few months after country legend Willie Nelson, a longtime advocate of recreational marijuana use, announced the release of his own brand called Willie's Reserve, Snoop Dogg's cannabis lifestyle is coming in handy for the rapper as he announced a new website dedicated to it.

According to Tech Crunch, Snoop Dogg's cannabis site is aptly called Merry Jane, and the rapper and actor announced it on the latest TechCruch Disrupt, as he said that the site was dedicated to anyone with any interest in marijuana, however passing, useful for everyone from the person who's curious to seasoned consumers.

Sky News reports that the rapper said that the new Snoop Dogg cannabis site will provide users with "all they need to know," and it's thought to be supported by big stars such as Seth Rogen and Miley Cyrus, both famous promoters of recreational marijuana use.

According to Time Magazine, the Snoop Dogg cannabis site was co-founded by entrepreneur Ted Chung, and they're calling it a "crossroads of pot culture, business, politics, health."

Besides general information on cannabis, Merry Jane will feature a lot of original content, from a cooking show dedicated to mixing recipes up with marijuana to a show on first-time users who talk about their experience using cannabis, and considering Snoop Dogg's big connections in the business (only months ago, he was on the "Roast of Justin Bieber"), there will be no shortage of celebrity appearances.

Snoop Dogg's cannabis site won't launch until October, and a select few will be chosen as beta testers - a total of 420 people, if we are to believe the rapper's famous humor.
