Ryan Adams Releases Album Cover of '1989' Album, Taylor Swift Sings Her Songs In Ryan's Melody

Ryan Adams has officially released his album cover of the fifth studio album of Taylor Swift '1989.' Using his emotional struggles during the difficult times of his life, the singer-songwriter recorded new versions of Taylor's songs which personally impressed him.

The former member of the Whiskeytown band stated how the idea started out back in November last year. During the Christmas season of the year 2014, Ryan Adams was in pain due to his separation with wife Mandy Moore.

"I had gone through some life changes, and it would be the first Christmas and New Year's I'd spend by myself in over five years. And I thought, 'What the fuck am I going to do?" Ryan recalled.

"I was going through a difficult time in my life, and by the time Christmas rolled around, it was the first time I was back in L.A. during the holidays, alone, on my own," he said.

While spending his time alone, the 'Gimme Something Good' singer decided to record Taylor Swift songs in his own style and voice. Ryan Adams heard something more sentimental in her songs.

Adams doesn't intend to change anything because there is something wrong with the 'Bad Blood' singer's voice or version. He only wanted to transform the 1989 songs of Taylor Swift using his own perspective and voice.

Taylor Swift, the original singer of the tracks which Ryan Adams covered liked the rendition of the 'My Wrecking Ball' singer. In fact, she finds herself singing her songs in Ryan's melody. The multi-awarded singer even admitted that among her favorite covers are "Blank Space" and "How You Get the Girl".

"They're not cover songs. They're reimaginings of my songs, and you can tell that he was in a different place emotionally than I was. There's this beautiful aching sadness and longing in this album that doesn't exist in the original," complimented Taylor.

On Twitter, many fans liked the renditions of Ryan Adams. Taylor herself retweeted the compliments of many music lovers.
