'American Horror Story' Has Been Snubbed During This Year's Emmy Awards- Fans Are Upset

Perhaps one TV series everybody is rooting for to be awarded at the Emmy's was FX's 'American Horror Story.' The number of nominations it has was just astounding that it almost looked impossible for it not to get any award at all. But surprisingly, it went home without a single Emmy. Fans of the show took to Twitter about how upset they were with the results.

IB Times reported that the hit TV series had an outstanding 19 nominations this year, and its fans noticed how the horror series was snubbed the entire event. The show had Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and even Kathy Bates who were nominated in the award show, but in the end Regina King from 'American Crime' brought home the bacon.

It was a really promising series and based on the amount of its followers and supporters, no one can really say it's a bad show not worthy of at least one Emmy.

It may not have bagged some main awards during the event, but it did take home creative-art awards like Outstanding Hairstyling, Outstanding Special Visual Effects, Outstanding Costumes, Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup and Outstanding Makeup ahead even before the Emmy's was aired on TV last Sunday.

Twitter was filled with upset fans who couldn't believe AHS had to go home empty handed. They all thought of the same thing and it is 'obvious that the show they love has been robbed of some worthy awards.

But to be fair, there are so many great shows as well in competition with AHS like 'American Crime' and 'Olive Kitteridge' seen on HBO. Hopefully, next year they will be able to take home at least one from this prestigious awards show in Hollywood.
