Drake Calls Lorde His Low-Key Wifey, Duo Flirts During NYFW [PHOTOS]

These two could make beautiful music together. Lorde posed alongside Drake while attending a fashion show on September 16, and Drake had some really sweet things to say about the talented young singer from New Zealand.

Kanye West‘s New York Fashion Week show was an all-star event. Lorde got a prime front row seat in between Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci and Kourtney Kardashian.

She also found time to flirt with 28-year-old rapper, who called her his "wifey" on Instagram.

The pair posed for an adorable photo together, which the “Back to Back” rapper posted on his Instagram page. The caption read: “Wifey (Low Key).” He even added some diamond ring emoji’s to get the point across.

The 18-year-old "Royals" singer may be working a little too hard on her new music, as she sported a swollen, purple eye at Kanye West's Yeezy Season 2 fashion show during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, sparking some concern among her fans.

"I work every night and through the weekend and my body falls apart / I go see a show / watch my good eye open slow," she tweeted.

The singer revealed, “my eye is weeping and screaming and it’s fashion week and everyone already things I’m strange and it’s a Kanye show where freaks are beautiful so why not say f*ck it and let’s dance with the melodrama?”

Lorde acknowleged Drake in particular despite meeting so many other huge stars at the event. Apparently, his time with her was the most precious. “The show was crazy. I got to wear sneakers and had the best bear hug from Drizzy,” she added to her post.

While their fans would love to see them couple up — or even make some amazing music together — these days, it looks more like Drake’s heart belongs to tennis champ Serena Williams.

He attended her semifinals match at the U.S. Open last week, where she unfortunately lost to Roberta Vinci. He also took in her NYFW HSN fashion show on September 14, where he not only sat front and center next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour, but he got cozy with Serena backstage and took her to a romantic dinner afterwards.
