A product recall has been issued on four styles of pizza sold under the DiGiorno and California Pizza Kitchen brands after pieces of clear plastic has been found in some of their products
Nestle USA, which operates water bottling plants in the Lehigh Valley, manufactured the pizzas at its Wisconsin facility and distributed the pizzas nationwide.
The company released a statement saying that a small number of consumers found bits of clear plastic in a California Pizza Kitchen crispy thin crust white pizza. No other complaints have been received, but Nestle said it traced the contaminant to packaged spinach it purchased from one its suppliers.

To locate the production codes for these pizzas, look for a blue or pink rectangular box on one of the side panels of the pizza box.
Consumers with the identified production codes should contact Nestlé USA Consumer Services at 800-456-4394 or nestlepizza@casupport.com for further instructions. Nestle will provide replacement coupons to reporting consumers and also may make arrangements to retrieve the pizza.
