Ariana Grande Announces New Single 'Focus' At 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon'

Singer-actress Ariana Grande joined Jimmy Fallon on his 'The Tonight Show' last Tuesday, September 15, and excitedly promoted her new single 'Focus' from her latest album 'Moonlight', Hollywood Life reported.

"We made a pinky promise last time you were on the show," Jimmy Fallon told Ariana. "You said, 'Next time you had any music news."

The young pop star immediately responded while brushing off some excitement in her face, saying "That I was going to share it with you first. And I kept my promise. My first single off my new album is coming out on October 30. It's called 'Focus'."

Following Ari's guesting on the show, Jimmy Fallon sent his thank you message to the singer on Twitter and wrote "Thank you @ArianaGrande for the duet and for the announcement. #NewMusic #FallonTonight".

The 'Problem' singer also tweeted her 'Fallon Tonight' experience, saying "I always have the most fun with you on your show! thank you so much! <3"

Besides sharing the good news about her upcoming single 'Focus', Grande also did not miss out announcing her upcoming shows which will be held at the Brooklyn's Barclays Center on September 26 to 27, Saturday and Sunday.

Reports say that Grande's upcoming album is a follow-up album of her 2014's 'My Everything', which launched her chart-topping singles 'Break Free', 'Love Me Harder', 'Problem' and 'Bang Bang'.

Being the guest of the night, Fallon asked Ariana to play the 'Tonight Show Wheel of Musical Impressions' and she totally nailed it as she impersonated the industry's biggest music artists, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Celine Dion.

Meanwhile, as she focuses on her new projects, Grande might wish that her fans will forget about her disappointing doughnut incident, where she was seen licking one of the doughnuts in a shop while ranting about how she disliked America.

"My behavior was very offensive and I apologized. There's no excuse or there's nothing to justify it." Grande said in her statement on Good Morning America.
