Elaborate Foods And Dishes Served At Celebrity Weddings

We all know celebrities break the bank when it comes to anything elegant, especially their wedding day. We all remember Kim K's elaborate $6 million concoction.

If you ever wondered where in fact all that money is going, a lot of it is being spent on elaborate and elegant menu's and dishes. Here a few of the diverse menus served up.

When Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot in Italy, they made sure to pull out all the stops.

"Guests snacked on local specialities like fava beans, artisan bread, lobster in turnip tops, mini caprese salads and cheeses, then enjoyed a four-course meal including steak and sea bass. Dessert was Italian dessert affogato (a scoop of ice cream topped with a shot of espresso)," according to The Huffington Post.

Reese Witherspoon's wedding was reminiscent of an ancient Greek wedding amongst royalty, with a touch of Americana.

"Reese Witherspoon and agent Jim Toth's 2011 wedding at their Ojai, Calif. estate included endive salad with olives and fava beans, wild striped bass with potatoes, mustard grilled chicken and herb roasted lamb with braised artichokes...Dessert was cake, a separate table of sweet treats and a "s'mores lounge." Guests received honey and pecan currant scones as favors," according to the Huff Post.

Some celebrities keep it a little more simple, like vegan's Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

"(They) served an all-vegan meal at their 2008 backyard wedding. Guests enjoyed vegetable spring rolls, miniature "beef" sliders and red velvet cake," according to Post.

However, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton went in quite the opposite direction and even served food they killed themselves!

Lambert and Shelton served, "Deer that Lambert killed herself! A few days before the wedding, she tweeted, "Last thing loaded for the wedding!!! Harvested by....me!!!!!" ...Guests also enjoyed a five-tiered cake frosted to look like bright purple leather," reports the article.

Some celebrities like Alex Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas like to keep it healthy. That may also have to do with Thomas being a yoga instructor.

"...Their wedding menu was similarly health-conscious. Guests enjoyed grilled chicken breast, pan-seared halibut with truffles, organic mushrooms and basil oil, and two wedding cakes (one of which was gluten-free)," according to Huffington.
