Is Robert Pattinson Avoiding Kristen Stewart? Actor and FKA Twigs Drifting Apart

To avoid controversies and being on the headlines of tabloids, Robert Pattinson tried to avoid ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart by not attending the Venice Film Festival. The English actor who is now engage with British singer FKA Twigs was absent during the festival because Stewart would also be there for the premiere of her new movie 'Equals'.

Since Venice is very small, the former couple would likely bump into each other at the event if the hot actor was present. And he does not want to be the content of tabloids afterwards.

However, reports reveal that the Twilight saga actor never really planned to attend to the film festival. The actor was supposed to be in the event for the screening of the film 'The Childhood of a Leader'. But the 29-year-old star backed out due to filming commitments for 'The Lost City of Z'.

The news of him avoiding Kristen is just nonsense and only tries to create controversies. The two claims that they already moved on from each other. The former couple is now happy with their new relationships. Also, Robert is happily engaged with his present girlfriend FKA Twigs.

The absence of the 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' star has nothing to do with his past relationship with Twilight co-star. The actor was not also able to attend the Deauville American Festival for the same reason.

To slam the rumors, a source recalled Robert and Kristen were both present in the Hollywood Film Awards last year with no problems.

Reports also state that the actor and his fiancé are having issues with their engagement. The two have been drifting apart according to recent reports.

"They haven't drifted apart [despite claims], but they haven't spoken as much lately because of his filming schedule. He is in Belfast and she is currently in the United States," a source explains.

The two are not rushing to get married. They are just waiting for the perfect time to finally tie knots.
