Actress, model and fashion designer, Sienna Miller opened up about her recent split with Tom Sturridge. The pair announced their engagement in 2012. However, after being together for three years, the couple decided to end their relationship in July.
"It's been really quite overwhelming recently, just with the volume of everything going on," the 33 year old star revealed to British Vogue. "Everything is shifting. It's actually been the s--ttiest year, and amazing. It's always yin and yang. I feel like if you're excelling in one area, it's hard to manage both and I do feel like the work is going really well."
After the estranged couple announced their engagement, they welcomed their daughter, Marlowe, six months later. While juggling a successful career in the limelight, Miller admitted that being a mother is an exhausting experience.
"Obviously when you have a baby it's the most incredible experience but your life is also catapulted into this chaos and you are exhausted. I could literally get on this table and fall asleep," she told the mag, which will be out in October.
Although she loves being a mother and wants to manage everything accordingly, Miller still finds it hard to accomplish everything, she even believes it's a "curse of motherhood."
"I'd like to be better at managing things; I'd like to be more super-although we're never going to feel it, even if we are," she continues. "That's the curse of motherhood-we just run ourselves ragged. I'm just trying to get a sense of what that guilt is. I sometimes feel like it's a totally invented emotion. It's strange to be punishing ourselves this way. It's not healthy."
Amid the split, Sienna and Tom remained good friends for their three year old daughter.
"It's a very amicable breakup and they intend to remain great friends," a source told The Sun.
