Nina Dobrev, who just recently exited from the popular television series 'The Vampire Diaries' in mid-May, has joined other stars in President Barrack Obama's 'It's On Us' campaign to help raise awareness for sexual assualt happening in college and university campuses.
Reports say that the campaign has on board several famous faces, including Nina Dobrev, Jesse Mecalfe, Haim, John Cho, Jessica Szohr, Zoe Saldana, Matt McGorry, Minka Kelly, Zoe Saldana and Josh Hutcherson.
"There's one thing you can never have sex without," Saldana said in a statement to which Matt McGorry noted by saying, "It's not something you buy."
Jesse Metcalfe added, "In fact, there's only one way to get it." Other stars went on saying, "It has to be given to you, freely. It's consent. Because sex without it, isn't sex. It's rape." Saldana ended the video by saying, "If you don't get it, you don't get it."
The project focuses on the issue of consent and celebrities are empowering the public to always provide consent before involving in any sexual activities.
The 'It's On Us' campaign is set to be released in September alongside a website that would include a promising slogan, 'help keep women and men safe from sexual assault'.
Besides facing this certain issue that Dobrev is probably most concern about, the former TVD actress is also going through split rumors once again with boyfriend Austin Stowell. Once again, she has proved the rumors to be nothing but only false speculations.
But many of her fans seem to be really curious about how is it really going between her and the 'Whiplash' actor.
However, it looks like Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are proving these naysayers wrong and seem to remain unaffected by the issues. In fact, they were recently spotted showing off some major PDA and several paparazzi snapshots of the two hanging out together and enjoying each other's company have also been circulating on social media.
