James Franco 2015: Seth Rogen’s BFF Finds Yet Another Calling, Teaching Film To High School Students

After first hitting mainstream audiences 15 years ago as part of the cast of the cult show "Freaks and Geeks," now James Franco's 2015 has seen Seth Rogen's pal enter seemingly every realm of artistic expression, from acting to directing and even writing and photography - and it seems he's now found a new calling in life.

It's widely known that the actor has pursued further education during his successful time in Hollywood, and he's attended UCLA, NYU, Yale and Columbia among others in his impressive academic career as he currently dips his toe into a PhD - but James Franco's 2015 is all about helping out the youngest film lovers create a path for themselves.

According to ABC7, the latest from James Franco's 2015 will the multitalented artist teaching a course in film at the Palo Alto High School, as he'll be giving one class one Sunday a month for those teens who signed up.

Business Standard reports that James Franco's 2015 project was announced via his Instagram last Friday, as he told California teens that he'd have an eight-part film class at the iconic high school, where the Palo Alto native studied in his adolescence.

According to Vanity Fair, the application for this James Franco 2015 course doesn't mention the Oscar nominee by name, but students will have to pen a 200-word short essay about why they want to be in the class and what they'd bring to it and also submit a one-minute video taken with their cellphone.

The lucky few that get in will be working in groups of three, with 24 spots in total for those who will get the privilege to hear from Franco's experience directly.

Currently, Franco has an impressive amount of films lined up, with 13 projects currently in different stages of production, which will be getting released from 2015 to 2018.
