Nick Jonas And Selena Gomez: Duo Fuel Romance Rumors As 'Jealous' Singer Makes Reference to Justin Bieber's Ex in New Song [LISTEN + LYRICS]

In anticipation of his upcoming album, Nick Jonas dropped a new single titled 'Area Code.' The 22-year-old's incredible voice will make everyone swoon.

Not long after Jonas dropped his new song, fans quickly pointed out that the singer appears to give a shout out to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez by referencing her latest single, 'Good For You,' in his new track.

Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez may have ended their relationship years ago, but does the 'Jealous' singer still have her on his mind?

Around 1:14, Nick sings: “You say I never been good for you, You can’t deny I gave it good to you.” This sounds to be a reference to Selena’s song with A$AP Rocky 'Good For You.' The “good for you” and “good to you” parts sure seem like he’s making it clear that it was directed at Selena.

Jonas seemed to confirm the speculation regarding his Gomez reference in 'Area Code' when he 'favorited' two fan tweets that pointed out his use of the songstress' lyrics.

Nick has seemingly shut down rumors of rekindling his romance with the 23-year-old singer, but Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez have ignited dating rumors after they were spotted having an intimate conversation during a MTV VMAs after party.

Vanity Fair reports that according to an insider who was in attendance at the bash, the former flames were "very flirty. He kept whispering in her ear."

The insider also pointed out that while Gomez's ex, Justin Bieber, was also in attendance at the bash, Gomez made a point to stick by Jonas and best friend Taylor Swift during the duration of the after party.

While neither Jonas nor Gomez have spoken out about the reference in "Area Code," fans have quickly taken to social media to gush over a "Nelena" reunion.

Nick Jonas has been hard at work on his new music. He promised fans that he has a new record coming “at some point later this year or next year,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

Listen to Nick Jonas' new song below.

I’m in your area code
I hit you up, are you alone?
So many places this could go
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
I’m fucked up, you don’t even know
Baby, it’s better that you don’t
I’m guessing now my cover’s blown
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah , oh yeah

Don’t know why I do it, but I do
Yeah, every time I have a drink or two
Get it bad for you
And I don’t know why I do it but I do
Yeah, all this liquor bringing out the truth

And I, we both remember what we said
But let’s agree to just forget
It’s late night, you should go to bed
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah , oh yeah
You say I never been good for you
You can’t deny I gave it good to you
We made it unforgettable, crazy
And I’m hoping I could let you in
Oh yeah, oh yeah

Don’t know why I do it, but I do
Yeah, every time I have a drink or two
Get it bad of you
And I don’t know why I do it but I do
Yeah, all this liquor bringing out the truth
Don’t know why I do it, but I do
Don’t know why I do it, but I, but, I
Yeah
