To fill the void left by the absence of Paul Walker's character in Fast and Furious 8, a couple of reputable female leads came up.The names that the latest gossip news updates mentioned are that of Helen Mirren, Ruby Rose and Angelina Jolie!
Vin Diesel has made no public confirmation yet as to who among them will join the family. If there's anything Vin Diesel has to say, 2017 is surely going to be the year of the women, whether or not Hilary gets elected.
People reported that, Dame Helen Mirren expressed her desire to star in the "Furious" films, during an interview with "Late Night with Seth Myers". However, she doubted if Diesel knew her at all.
When Vin was asked if Helen Mirren is the right fit for the franchise, he told Entertainment Tonight, that he is definite that he will be able to find someone so "amazing" a place in his movie. Diesel made it clear, he knew of the 69 year old British icon.
But he also made mention that there are others being considered. Among them are Nathalie Emmanuel's mother, and the matriarch of the Shaw's brothers.
On the other hand, this is what Michele Rodriguez has to say, in an interview with ET, regarding the possible choice for Fast's new addition to the family: " Angelina Jolie, that would be sexy. That would be so cool." "We've definitely got to bring up the ante, man. Whoever it is -- it has to be a powerful presence that hasn't been seen before."
Meanwhile, Ruby Rose, or Stella Carlin on the hit Netflix series, and the newcomer of Orange Is the New Black , insists she is in the process of negotiating for a role in the film. She said she has auditioned for it even before working on Orange Is the New Black.
Ruby Rose stated, "My last audition before Orange was for Fast And Furious 7. But they didn't want me because one of the main guys said I looked like Justin Bieber!" Rose also said, "It's so funny because now I'm in talks with that movie and I haven't mentioned to them that I know [they turned me down because I looked like Justin]."
"Fast *" is scheduled to be released in theaters on April14,2017.
