General Mills will release its fiscal 2013 third-quarter financial results on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, prior to market open Yahoo!, Finance reported.
Prior to the release, the company will hold a conference call for members of the investment community beginning at 8:30am. The conference call be seen on the General Mills website, at www.generalmills.com. It will be a live webcast however the company will leave it on the General Mills website for other people to view it.
The board of directors of General Mills Inc. recently announced a 15% increase in the consumer food company's dividend, its 14th hike in the quarterly dividend rate since 2004, ZACKS reported.
The company's quarterly dividend went from 33 cents to 38 cents per share. This was a 8.6% increase. According to ZACKS, the food distributor frequently enhanced shareholders' return via share repurchases and dividends. In the last four years General Mills brought a compound annual return of 12% to shareholders.
The food company's stock is doing quite well; they are at $46.48 per share. Yesterday, General Mills stock ended the day at $46.27 per share. Today, the food company's stock opened at $46.29 per share.
General Mills recently created BFAST, a beverage that consumers can have for breakfast. BFAST is currently available in New England states such as Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
