Lenovo Unveiled Fast, Beast-Like Gaming Laptops

Lenovo has released its new "angry looking" gaming PCs and laptops at the IFA 2015, which show the company's earnest desire to be one of the top choice for PC gamers.

The Chinese multi-tech company released its new Y700 and Y900 for PCs and also the new ideapad Y700-series of gaming laptops. The new gaming desktops, named the ideacentre Y700 and Y900 are all powered with newest Intel Skylake Core i5 and i7 processors.

The Y700 is said to be armed with the latest Skylake-S chips while the Y900 will be equipped with a packed 95W TDP overclockable K-series Skylake chip.

 In terms of GPUs, both of the ideacentres will be powered with the latest gaming graphic cards in the market. The Y700 is loaded with a 4GB GTX 970 while the Y900 is partnered with a new 4GB GTX 980 together with a quicker PCIe SSDs. With these types of graphic cards, both of the devices are expected to be 'beasts' in terms of gameplay performance.

The new devices also display the most recent DDR4 RAM together with a Blu-ray optical drives and 2x2 AC wireless. In terms of accessories, both the ideacentres possess a red LED light that enhances the overall appearance of the desktops.

Ideacentre Y700 starts at a price of $999 while the Y900 will be at $1,599 and above depending on particular specifications.

Aside from the gaming desktops, Lenovo also released its new gaming laptops, ideapad Y700-series. The new ideapad comes with much powerful specifications. It is powered by a Skylake chip if it is an Intel version, and has a 4GB GTX 960M graphic card. It will be supported with a maximum of 16GB of DDR4 RAM and will have a 4K resolution display for 15.6 inch ideapads. Battery performance is also enhanced by making it a four-cell 60 WHr battery.

All of the new gaming devices will be launch this coming October.
