Janet Jackson Opens Her 'Unbreakable World Tour' In Vancouver

After her 4-year hiatus, singer-songwriter and actress Janet Jackson has finally made her comeback on stage last Tuesday night, September 1, where she kicked off her "Unbreakable World Tour" in Vancouver.

Janet Jackson opened the night by performing her soon-to-be released song 'Burn It Up' which featured the legendary rapper Missy Elliott, performing on the giant screen.

Prior to the event, Missy Elliott sent her good luck tweet to Janet Jackson on Twitter. She wrote, "Positive vibes to my sis @JanetJackson on the opening of her tour 2night! U r UNBREAKABLE Do ya thang"

The singer didn't stop with just surprising her fans with her new track and introducing Missy Elliott. She obviously came more than prepared as she included more tracks by launching her newest single "No Sleeep", her additional track 'Rhythm Nation' her 1995 hit single "Scream", 'All for You', 'All Nite' and 'Black Cat'.

Janet Jackson, who was married to a big Qatari entrepreneur Wissam Al Mana back in 2012, left the spotlight for the past four years and has only returned last summer.

Besides celebrating her return in the music industry, Janet Jackson also celebrated her 49th birthday in May.  On her special day, the singer announced on Twitter about her comeback and posted a video of herself.

She said, "I've promised you'd hear it from my lips and now you will. This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening, let's keep the conversation going."

Jackson ended her show by singing her lead track 'Unbreakable' from her new album, which is set to be released some time this year.

She also did not miss out thanking her fans for coming to her big night and wrote, "Hey you guys, Thank you for making No Sleeep #1 again & for showing so much love at last night's show in Vancouver. Love Janet #NoSL333P (sic)"

Janet Jackson will be heading next to her next show on September 4, Friday, which will take place at the Rexall Place situated in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
