Amid the much talked-about splits among many Hollywood couples, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., still going strong are here to show everybody not all celebrity marriages fail.
E! Online reports one of the 90's hottest celebrity couples just celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, August 1. During their special day, the 38-year-old "Buffy" actress posted a romantic throwback photo of the couple's 2002 wedding on Instagram.
"13 years #happyanniversary I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me," she wrote.
Gellar and Prinze met each other at the set of their 1997 teen horror movie, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and started dating in 2000. Two years later, the couple tied the knot in a secret wedding in Mexico.
The on-screen and off-screen sweethearts also starred together as Fred and Daphne in two Scooby Doo movies in 2002 and 2004. The married couple welcomed first daughter, five-year-old Charlotte Grace in 2009, and son, almost three-year-old Rocky in 2012.
On Prinze's 39th birthday in March, Gellar also posted a sweet message for her husband along with the couple's cute picture. "Happy birthday to this guy @RealFPJ," she wrote in Instagram. "Thank you for showing me dreams are possible, and being the best partner a girl could ever have (esp on #InternationalWomensDay)."
Being hands-on parents, Gellar previously told E! News how they "split everything pretty fairly" when it comes to their adorable children. "I mean, I think that that's how you have to raise children today, as you want them to be independent and want them to see in our society that there is no difference between men and women and go from there," she said.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Sarah Michelle Gellar's net worth is $15million, earning $100,000 for every episode, while Freddie Prinze Jr. is at $19million.
