Guns N’ Roses Reunion Concert Would Take 100 Lawyers?

After the reconciliation of Axl Rose and Slash, fans have been speculating and fantasizing about the original members of the group performing together in a concert.

AJ Maddah finally "shot down" rumors regarding the possible reunion with the original members of Guns N' Roses. AJ Maddah, is an Iranian born, Australian music promoter, who is the founder of Soundwave and Harvest Music Festival.

Last month, the owner of Melbourne's rock and roll Cherry Bar - James Young, spread the word about the Guns N' Roses to perform in Soundwave (an annual music festival held in major cities around Australia).

"I heard the most amazing rumor this week, from a very well informed heavy hitter in the Australian music industry, giving me the name of the headline act for Soundwave next year. Now we know that a mystery band has come in and saved the festival, and now owns it, so they are going to have a big say. So what mega band could it be? Well, I have heard 'fantasized' on Wednesday night that it will be: Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagen, Slash and Axl Rose, the reformation of the original 1987 Appetite for Destruction Guns N' Roses lineup, can you believe it? It's incredible, I've had sleepless nights fantasizing about it."

AJ Maddah stated, "It's been nice for me personally to share this fantasy for a few days along with the fans, but it is not happening for [next year's edition of Soundwave]. I sure hope those guys do get back together again, as there has never been, or, as far as I am concerned, ever will be such a potent force for rock 'n' roll than the original GNR in full flight."

AJ Maddah said if the classic lineup of Guns N' Roses will have a reunion concert, the band will have to take longer than six months to prepare for a tour. He also thinks that 100 lawyers will be needed just to get the original members into a rehearsal room together.

However, if the reunion will push through, AJ Maddah said that he will do anything by all means to be part of the event, and he said that he can even end his career as a promoter after the concert.
