Aside from the fans, who seemingly could not get over the fact that Nina Dobrev's character as Elena Gilbert is no longer part of The Vampire Diaries, some of the cast whom Dobrev has worked with for six years, seem to feel the same thing as they reminisce few of their best scenes with the former TVD leading lady.
"One of the things I've always loved doing with Nina are the fight scene,' cause she take it just as seriously as I do," Candice Accola who plays the character of Caroline Forbes said in a video.
Michael Malarkey, who plays the character of Enzo, added, "Nina's our Queen Bee. You know, she's gonna be missed greatly."
As Malarkey went on to recall more of his fighting scenes with Dobrev, he said "One time we were filming 'Man on Fire' (episode in) season 5, and we have a kind of fight scene, Nina whispered in my ear right before the take, 'Actually throw me."
Dobrev on the other hand, previously admitted that she often did her stunts without warnings, "If I was a stunt performer on our show, I would probably be a little frustrated because their whole job is to come to set and get to do the big cool crazy fun stuff, and I'll usually ask John (stunt coordinator) if I can do something."
She went on saying, "If they say no, I'll kind of do it anyway, and then apologize later and be like, 'Oops I forgot I wasn't supposed to do that!' It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission."
Following Nina Dobrev's exit in mid-May, the whole show is going to be a lot different now and there will be multiple dangerous stunts for the actors in the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries.
Reports say that the new TVD chapter without Elena will focus more on the remaining main characters, Stefan, Damon, Bonnie and Caroline.
Show's executive producer, Julie Plec said in her statement "In terms of the show focusing on a single character, we are going to shift from that. We finally have an opportunity to show off the ensemble and make them feel more like the stars of their own show."
