Taylor Swift Brings ‘Bad Blood’ Crew To VMAs Red Carpet [PHOTOS]

Taylor Swift was one of the first to arrive at the Video Music Awards on August 30, but she didn’t show up alone. The 25-year-old singer attended the highly-anticipated awards show with a whole bunch of her girlfriends from the “Bad Blood” video, even Selena Gomez was by her side!

There was no shortage of glamor on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet on Sunday. And Taylor Swift brought it in spades when she arrived with her famous girl squad.

Although her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, is on tour and couldn’t attend, Taylor was lucky enough to have a whole crew to stand in his place.

The hitmaker, who was leading the nominations for the evening, certainly went for a striking look in a gold, silver and bronze houndstooth crop top and matching trousers, which were both covered in sequins.

Taylor Swift made sure all eyes were on her for the VMA's as she posed up a storm in a dazzling sequinned two-piece by Ashish.

Ashish Gupta is nicknamed the 'king of sequins' and is well known for transforming sportswear with high-octane embellishments.

Taylor left her stomach on show in the two-piece outfit, which she paired with metallic Christian Louboutin heels.

The pop star finished off her look with a generous application of winged eyeliner, and slicked back her dark blonde hair.

The whole squad looked totally gorgeous, starting out by posing in a group on the carpet, rather than solo, and proving that this year is all about girl power. All the ladies were part of Taylor’s buzzed-about 'Bad Blood' video, so it’s only fitting that they showed up to support her on the night that her new video, “Wildest Dreams,” is set to premiere.

The ceremony held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles has, like every year, made room for some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Miley Cyrus celebrated her triumphant return to the awards ceremony, after her twerking escapade with Robin Thicke two years ago, this time as the host.
