After the highly publicized Taylor Swift feud with Nicki Minaj on Twitter and later Miley Cyrus saying a few unpleasant words about Swift's video "Bad Blood," the most recent supposed fight involving the superstar involved one of the most iconic women in punk pop, Avril Lavigne - but was it all a misunderstanding?
It would seem like this Taylor Swift feud in particular was no more than just the press wildly misinterpreting comments, after it was found that Swift had favorited a post on Tumblr showing a lot celebrities (including Lavigne and supposed nemesis Katy Perry) looking awkward around their fans, comparing them with Swift's famous kindness towards hers.
Afterwards, Lavigne saw the post and took to Twitter to say it wasn't cool to judge, prompting rumors of an outright Taylor Swift feud - but the "1989 World Tour" showed the world otherwise!
According to The Daily Mail, rumors of a Taylor Swift feud with Avril Lavigne were quickly put to bed when the two blonde singers took the stage together to sing Lavigne's 2002 hit "Complicated" after Swift invited her to pop into her San Diego concert, which has already included the likes of Alanis Morissette, Selena Gomez and even Justin Timberlake.
As Hollywood Life reports, the fact that this Taylor Swift feud was a complete fabrication was seen further after the Petco Park show, when TayTay herself took to Twitter to share her excitement for having shared the stage with the iconic singer of hits like "Sk8er Boy." Of course, being on good terms with someone required two people, and it's been established that Lavigne is all about making peace as well, as she posted a photo of the two of them on her Instagram account as well as her Twitter one, according to E! Online. Relive the 2002 hit song by watching this Taylor Swift feud vanish below!
