The war of words between Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather Jr. just escalated again. The 28-year-old female UFC champion and the 38-year-old undefeated boxer must really want to fight because they will not stop dissing each other.
On Tuesday, Ronda Rousey reacted in an interview with TMZ Sports to a recent dig from Mayweather about her earning power. “[Floyd] said ‘You make $300 million a night, then you can give me a call’ and I actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight, I’m actually the highest paid UFC fighter and I’m a woman,” she told the gossip website.
”I think I actually make 2-3 times more than he does per second … so when he learns to read and write, he can text me.” She went on to say she’s “more efficient” than the boxing icon.
After catching wind of the UFC fighter’s illiteracy diss, Floyd issued a statement through a TMT member telling TMZ Sports, “Big bank take little bank," rubbing Floyd Mayweather's net worth on Ronda's face. "Let’s play and see how much money you get. Last time I checked, I was #1 on Forbes. She will never be at my status. Keep trying to get publicity.”
As a boxer, Mayweather’s career is remarkable. With a 48-0 record, he’s now won 6 world championships in 5 different weight divisions that helped him secure his salary that led to Floyd Mayweather's net worth being as high as it is these days.
Floyd Mayweather topped the list of highest-paid athletes in 2014, banking $105 million from just two fights. Prior to facing Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather's net worth has already come from variety of sources.
The less talked about peg of Mayweather’s empire is Mayweather Promotions. While he has proven savvy and surgical as a boxer, Floyd Mayweather's net worth has stemmed as he masterfully established himself as an even sharper and more shrewd businessman outside of the ring.
Floyd Mayweather's net worth is $400 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. He is a world renowned American boxing champion and has a $100 million salary per fight.
