Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have been together since September 2011, and the two even share a daughter, 11-month-old Esmeralda Amada Gosling, together. So a marriage should not be too far long for the Hollywood couple.

E! News has spotted Eva Mendes wearing the same ring on her ring finger for sometime now, and has been speculating that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have secretly been engaged.

The 41-year-old "Hitch" actress has been seen on numerous occasions wearing an "emerald bauble" for a while now, which leads on-lookers, fans and the publication to do some investigation and has suspected that Ryan Gosling has already proposed to his baby mama.

Reports claim that Eva Mendes has been wearing the ring since June, which was always placed on her right hand. In addition, The "Place Beyond the Pines" actress was also spotted wearing the ring at a red carpet Estee Lauder event just last month.

It doesn't stop there. Eva Mendes also posted an Instagram snap about 12 weeks ago, where's she's sporting the same huge rock.

Unfortunately though, the E! News came to the conclusion that the ring might have been a push present from Ryan Gosling, for the birth of Esmeralda. Which totally makes sense, given that the rock is an emerald.

Although fans might be disheartened to hear that wedding bells for Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes might not be in the works right now, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen! Everyone will just have to wait and see (or keep a look out on Eva Mendes Instagam account)!
