Eminem Rejected $8 Million Movie Offer

Eminem once turned down an $8 Million movie deal because it is not what he has in mind. He finds the script not gritty enough.

50 Cent once approached the 'Mockingbird' artist and proposed to him a movie deal. In the film the two rapper are supposed to be playing the characters of a rival gang leaders.

"It was a film where we were supposed to be playing two guys from different sides of the tracks, 50 Cent explained to Q Magazine. "I'm like the head of this gang in Detroit and he's the head of another gang.

The offer is said to be an eye watering $8 Million. The said movie will be shot in Eminem's adopted hometown, Detroit, Michigan, so he don't have to leave his hometown.

50 Cent said, "His thing was he didn't like to leave Detroit... So I said, 'Hey, they want to give you eight million dollars to do it and we don't have to leave Detroit, so you can go home every night!"

However, upon reading the script, Eminem wants something like the 1979 street gangs movie 'The Warriors'

50 Cent recalled, "He read the synopsis and was like, 'It's cool but we should do something like The Warriors."

Although, he tried to convince his pal to take the offer because of the high pay and they don't have to leave Detroit, Eminem just didn't care.

"I said, 'The Warriors? What the f**k, Em? The Warriors? Did you just hear me say they want to give you eight million dollars and you don't have to leave Detroit?' He didn't give a f**k."

Meanwhile, Eminem is currently busy in helping Detroit's Downtown Boxing Gym. The rapper is soliciting donations to help after-school youth tutoring program, which helps children ages between 7-18 with academics and athletic training, The Detroit News reported.
