Iggy Azalea dismissed case against her ex- boyfriend Maurice Williams, aka Jefe Wine, whom she accused of stealing files from her computer, including her unreleased records.
On Tuesday, a stipulation for dismissal was filed in the court of California. In a statement obtained by TheWrap, noting that both parties "hereby stipulate to the dismissal, with prejudice" of the suit.
Both parties also "agreed to dismiss a cross-complaint filed in the action," according to the site. In addition, a judge still needs to agree to the stipulation for dismissal.
The Austin rapper filed a lawsuit against Williams last year for allegedly copying her files from her computer and stealing her unreleased records.
But Williams claimed he had rights to Azalea's music. However, he failed to secure his claim since Azalea was granted a preliminary injunction, which halted him from putting Iggy's unreleased recordings on his own record.
Earlier this year both of them reached a court settlement. In which Azalea reportedly paid Williams with an undisclosed amount, TMZ reported.
Williams and Azalea both used to live as live in partners in Texas, which happens to have a law that if couple live together in the state and agree to get married they can be considered legally married. Wine then claimed before living together they both had an agreement to tie the knot.
But Azalea's legal counsel denied the allegation, saying she never agreed to such an agreement and he is just after her money.
When the legal battle was all set, Azalea pleaded for the judge's favor. Asking that the case not be transferred in William's hometown for her safety. She claimed that he is violent and she is scared that he might do something to harm her.
With all the controversy, Iggy maintains composure and focus on her music, she is currently engaged to Nick Young.
