Celine Dion is all set to return on stage but with "moments of emptiness..." as she hits the podium.
After her long absence from the music industry, the 'My Heart Will Go On' hit maker is scheduled to perform on August 27 at Las Vegas. As she is due to perform on stage, she confessed that the first night will be full of mix emotion.
She explained to USA Today, "That first night will be fragile, there'll be moments of emptiness, laughter, awkwardness, tearing, there will be. But that's the point of coming back, otherwise I just release an album."
"The mistakes sometimes are priceless,"she added." And if you come to see the show to look for perfection it's through the imperfection you see the perfection, otherwise don't pay to come over here, buy the album."
Céline and René have been married for twenty years. Her husband, was first diagnosed with throat cancer in 1998. After some treatments, the 73 year old managed to recover from the illness but he contracted the illness for the second time in 2013.
With René's battle with the illness, Celine strongly believes that her return on stage will help in his recovery.
"It's going to help Rene 100 per cent and it's going to help me 100 per cent," she said. "First of all, I'm doing it for him. He wants me there, he wants me to be with him, he is with me, and I think he wants a trip on the stage again."
"I'll bring him with me. He's with me at the house are you kidding me? I don't move an inch away from my family. I'm the caretaker, I'm the wife, I'm the mother. Hopefully he'll be in the audience, if not we have the equipment for him to see the show live at the house in his comfortable seat."
