Last year, Chick-fil-A customers couldn’t get enough of the chain’s take on a Southwestern, spice-infused Chicken Tortilla Soup. The Soup will be available in restaurants nationwide from Jan. 2 through March 31.
Chick-fil-A’s Chicken Tortilla Soup is made with shredded boneless breast of chicken, corn, navy and black beans in a white creamy base with a blend of vegetables and spices. Topped with seasoned corn tortilla strips, the soup is a warm, hearty option for a lunch or dinner meal during the winter months. The limited-time soup complements Chick-fil-A’s Hearty Breast of Chicken Soup, which is available year round.
The soup has very authentic taste and thicker consistency than typical chicken broth base tortilla soup. The soup only has 260 calories and six grams of fat.
The soup is available in medium (8 oz.) and large (16 oz.) servings starting at $3.65 and $5.99, respectively.
“Our Chicken Tortilla Soup introduction was a tremendous success last year; in fact, we couldn’t even keep a supply in the restaurant because customer demand was so high,” said David Farmer, Chick-fil-A’s vice president of product strategy and development. “Last year was the first time we introduced a limited-time product other than our seasonal milkshake flavors, so the success we enjoyed proved how much our customers value seasonal and flavor options on our menu.”
Chick-fil-A is Atlanta-based quick-service chicken restaurant chain, with more than 1,680 restaurants in 39 states and Washington D.C.
