Eminem Donated $10,000 To Rapper Sean Price's Family

American rapper and songwriter, Eminem, who just debuted his latest single "Phenomenal" in June, has reportedly donated $10,000 to the family of the deceased rapper, Sean Price, who passed away earlier in August.

The closest friends of the 43-year-old hip-hop star, who died in his sleep, arranged a fund-raising to help his family. Sean Price is survived by his wife Bernadette and three children.

According to reports, the said campaign gathered massive help from his fans and friends in the music industry. One of them was Eminem and through Shady Records, he shared a huge amount in donations, raising the total to $86,000.

Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg has recently admitted that he considers Sean Price as one of his favorites. "I swear I just told Marshall [Eminem] on Thursday that Sean was my current favorite. I hung on every word in his verses," he said.

Following the rapper's death, statements of condolences and support were pouring out from Sean Price's fellow rappers and friends in the hip-hop community both on social media and in in-person interviews.

Brooklyn rapper Skyzoo, upon hearing the news, spoke about his friend and described Price as the "epitome of what hip hop was", and "should be moving forward."

He added, "That was my big brother for real. The most genuine, authentic, free spirited person you could ever meet, regardless of how intimidating his physical stature may have been to some."

Skyzoo went on saying, "He was probably the greatest person I've ever had he honor of calling a friend via the industry. We went beyond that. He was family. There will never be another like him.

"He was the best person you could ever get to know, and one of the greatest to ever hold a pen." he continued.

The gathered amount from the fundraising will assist Price's family with the vigil and burial expenses.
