Making superstars out of the likes of David Hasselhoff, Yasmine Bleeth and Carmen Electra in the 1990s, "Baywatch" was one of the most iconic shows of the decade, and the one person most associated with it doesn't seem too happy with the idea of a remake, as Pamela Anderson's "Baywatch" opinion comes forward.

In a recent interview about the series' upcoming remake reportedly starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron, Pamela Anderson's "Baywatch" remake opinion finally came to light, and it seems like the actress who became a worldwide sensation playing C.J. Parker in the beach-themed series isn't happy about the remake.

According to The Guardian, the 48 year-old blonde bombshell recently expressed Pamela Anderson's "Baywatch" discomfort, saying that nobody really ever appreciated remakes and the Johnson-Efron one was going a step too far in the wrong direction.

Speaking to TMZ, Pamela Anderson's "Baywatch" remake bash came after the actress clarified her time in the show had been the best of her life, although saying that the 90s where a "simpler, sweeter time" and that's the reason why the show worked, whereas now the same concept wouldn't translate well with current audiences, and less of all in film form as it's now scheduled to return.

In the meantime, according to Express UK, Pamela Anderson's "Baywatch" casting choice has already been established for the remake, as English model Kelly Brook, best known for "Piranha 3D" and the NBC sitcom "One Big Happy," would be taking the spot of the sweet blonde character.

Brook would be playing C.J. in the remake, although it's still unconfirmed; however, a source close to the project told The Daily Star that she's at least very close in the run.

"Kelly is one of the shortlisters. It is no surprise," the insider said, speaking about Pamela Anderson's "Baywatch" look. "She has an almost identical body to a young Pam, looks sensational in a bikini and is a strong actress."
