CC Sabathia is a New York Yankees pitcher who makes roughly $25 million per year.

The Saturday brawl with CC Sabathia took place following the Yankees 4-3 win in their weekend series against the Blue Jays. Sabathia would not have stood out in the street fight, had he not worn bright red sneakers and had he been way shorter than 6'7".

It remains unclear what started the brawl with CC Sabathia, however, TMZ Sports mentioned hecklers yelling "Go Blue Jays" as the fight went on.

In the CC Sabathia brawl video, the 35-year-old was shown shouting back at the hecklers. Fortunately for him, a friend was able to shove him into a cab before he got harmed. The street fight reportedly got wild, but calmed down eventually as Sabathia left.

According to Brendan Kuty of the Star-Ledger, Sabathia regrets the incident Toronto, adding that he simply "made a bad decision."

The Yankees player made the apology after the CC Sabathia brawl video went viral, reported Yahoo.

On Monday, Sabathia reportedly told Mike Axisa of  CBS Sports' Eye on Baseball:

"Just a bad decision on my part," said Sabathia on Monday. "Probably should have just kept quiet and got in the cab. I'm just glad I ended up getting in the cab before everything that went down."

"That's why I said I could have handled it a little better. But obviously I had my cousin and my friends there with me. He helped me out a lot."

On Monday night, Sabathia was supposed to begin for the Yankees on with their game against the Minnesota Twins. However, his role was scratched. Sabathia and the ballclub clarified the decision and said it had nothing to do with the "CC Sabathia brawl" video.
